Hacking R4i 3DS Revolution help

Okay so yesterday i got this flashcart (http://www.r4ids.cn/r4ds/new_r4.jpg) and i tried using the AR codes for few of my games, i tried codes where you have to select buttons and i tried codes where it should work automatically, none of the codes worked, could it be the card or the firmware?

Games i tried:
- Pokemon White
- Golden Sun: Dark Cloud
- Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
- Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
- Animal Crossing: Wild World

You first have to turn on the option to use cheats in the firmware

I don't remember where that option is. Either in Settings or File info.
