My friend today gave me his r4 cart which displays the website in the title.^
He asked me to update this to work on his 4.3.0-10U.
Will this work on that 3DS firmware? I know I should update this card but it seems the website is down...

I'm sorry but the R4 only works up to 3DS V4.0. You can visit the latest download page here.

Your card maybe old one. I think you can get help from a online service reseller:

Not all R4 cards are shut off at such a low FW revision. The R4i Silver RTS Lite, for example, works on my 2DS running 7.1-16U. Tell your friend to just drop another 6$ on a new card. Nabbed mine from Eachmall. Took nearly three weeks to get here, but that's HK shipping for ya.

WTF. The R4i Silver RTS Lite has a very slow menu. He'd better go with the R4i Gold 3DS by R4ids.cn or if he never wants a new hardware revision with the Supercard DSTWO by supercard.sc.

Regardless of the speed of the menu (which doesn't bug me that much), he'll still have to get a new card, which, anything along the R4i lineup won't run him more than 10$. The DSTWO is nice and all, but it comes with way too much junk I'd never use, and that makes it cost literally ten times as much as a basic R4 card.
