Is it possible to add custom code to an R4 card?

Pretty much what the title says. I want to transfer save files between what is on the microSD card in the 3DS and the microSD card thats in the R4 card. But i believe R4 cards dont have a file viewing system, which is where my question stems from of whether I can add custom code to the R4 card that would allow me to transfer such files.

If I'm not mistaken, TWiLight Menu already supports accessing the microSD card in a flashcart, but only certain models.

Accessing kind of implies file transfer capability, don't you think?

Unfortunately documentation on this specific feature is a little spotty. But the question was "is it possible".

GodMode9i has this feature.
It previously only supported AK2i and R4iUltra, but recently more and more flashcards can be mounted.
