Hacking R4dsi SDHC Errors

Im trying to set up my sons R4DSi SDHC for the first time but Im getting error messages saying " An error has occurred, turn off and refer to dsi manual for details". Anyone got a clue as to what Im doing wrong?? I have set the root of the sd yp like this:

_SYSTEM_
MOONSHL
_DS_MENU(video cd movie)
_DS_MENU (config settings)
_DS_MSHL

then the games in the same directory rather in a seperate folder. have I set it up correctly??

your on 1.4,checkyour R4's website and see if it's compatible with 1.4,update it if so
