So, I'm trying to compile files that you might need for your R4 here, so you guys don't have to look or search for it again

--C. Moonshell (Thanks to Another World for the suggestion)
Everybody knows Moonshell, everybody loves Moonshell, yep. Moonshell is a famous Media Player exclusive for NDS . R4DS features Moonshell v1.71(the latest) by default. Still, not everybody knows how to use Moonshell e.g.: What video format can Moonshell play? How do I convert to that format?
I found a useful guide about Moonshell here, but it uses Supercard SD and Flashme v5 for the guide, so maybe it won't help alot, but at least you know the basics
Moonshell can play video, but limited only to .dpg format, none other would work, so here is Moonshell DPGTool, a handy tool to convert your video to .dpg format. File size is 5.1 MB and is in .7ZIP format. Works only with 3 video format, I remember .wmv, .avi and 1 other format.
If you need something more powerful, check this software out.
SUPER Converter, which claims it can convert almost ANY format and convert it straight to .dpg, and other formats too.

For the true fan of R4 (or just own an R4), having a custom theme is a must (that is, unless you're OK with the basic theme provided)
That said, making a custom theme is not hard, but takes a lot of time. Thankfully, a program called R4 Theme Creator Alice
is here to help us.
This program is easy to use, has lots of good features, supports drag-and-drop system.

For some people, it's pretty annoying to actually turn off their NDS, remove R4, then boot NDS again to enjoy Download Play feature. So, YASU did a few things here and there and here's back2fw, it boots NDS firmware when you run it. Beware though: you can't get back to R4again once you run it. You have to turn off your NDS and turn it on again to access R4

With R4Team's controversial announcement (well, it's ahtin who found it, and many still argue about whether it's official or not), which claims the next update will destroy fake R4s, along with the fact that R4 has no update for months, YASU's so kind to make a custom loader for R4, it's called YSMENU.
For further information, I suggest you to go here. This topic tells you almost anything about YSMENU, along with a few download links

5. CUSTOMIZATION TOOLS
Injektor2 is a small software made by zorgrage to edit your DS_MENU.DAT, literally edits strings and other few things. So you can delete that R4DS English Version text that meddles with your awesome theme <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

GUI patcher with r4bugfix2 and r4trans. For those who don't know, the more casual term is, you can fix a bug in R4, causing some cheats to work, and you can translate R4 loaders from chinese version to English version

That's all the things I feel necessary, anyone who knows other files important for R4 may tell me and post it, I'll update the post
P.S: can the moderator stick this thread? I think this one is useful for R4 users out there
