Hacking R4DS Just got it delivered!

Hmm... now I'm thinking of getting this flashcart. I was thinking of getting a slot 1 solution, but didn't know which one. Why don't you get the Guitar rom, I'm also curious as to whether it works or not. This seems to be the most compatible card at the moment, right?

Have you tried any homebrew yet? Does it have passme functionality? Drag and Drop support?
Take your time testing it, I might get one of those.

Tested Moonshell 1.5 it works. Can't view JPG file don't know why, but
it plays MP3, Views DPG files.

There is an menu to boot SLOT-2, but I don't have SLOT-2 Flash so can't really say it works..

Drag and Drop is sweet part of using R4DS, just drop the rom file into any folder of root of the
MicroSD and off you go.

So, far ALL the roms I've got.. worked 100%. (Couldn't test download play as I only got 1)

If you are deciding between many choices out there, I can recommend R4DS...
I've been reading articles and forums for about 5days straight before I bought this one...
I must say it was a risky try... But I didn't liked the DS-X's price and limit on space.
Supercard Slot1 seem to have quite a few problems slowdown and manual savetype setting etc.
AceKard had compatibility and savetype issue and so on...

I can't say what other yet to be released cards (M3 Simply and others) will perform better, but
at the moment R4DS seem to be sharing top level along with DS-X.

KKK, I just figured out uploading pics to imageshack or pictoodle site then
linking it to the forum...

I think R4DS team should buy me present for doing their job for them

If they put web pages with nice screenshots and some explanations, more people
would buy this product with much ease... I was soooo worried until I tested this
thing out...

I've tried few, Nothing much but just background pic change
It's kinda weird that, everytime they have
OS update... They reupload entire 6 skins that's available on their
website.

I wonder if they can't just release the OS file alone.

Also, R4DS.net and R4DS.com doesn't get updated at same time.
Often .com website gets update first...

so far its looking like the r4 is a much better slot1 solution when it comes to rom compatability than the scds one. supercard team can always release updates but so far out of the box the r4 looks like a better product.

im soo glad ! also the R4 offical website is having a little slowdown cuase of earthquakes in the area

also they update there site frequently ! what they dont update is there sister site r4ds.net i think its a backup

1GB Kingston MicroSD, apparently R4DS claims that whatever memory card you use
there are no slowdowns.. however I only got Kingston MicroSD.

Good God they just updated the software for the R4 to v1.05. I just canceled my M3 DS Simply order since it just got pushed back almost a week and ordered this instead. I'm excited by the praise this thing is getting now.
