Hacking R4 Wont run on 3ds

so i have this R4 revolution for ds, and i'm trying to run in on a 3ds xl but the card wont even show up, i tried it on a regular ds to see if it was damaged but thats not the case. i tried installing a r4 apache launcher but it still doesnt show up

I think that R4 revolution it is not compatible with 3DS anymore. Try the R4i SDHC Gold Pro. It works well.

The one you suggested has a time bomb as far as I know. I think it is in the interest of the OP to get one without a time bomb. I would recommend the R4i Gold 3DS Plus as well.

I also have a r4 card that used to play DS games on my 3DS but the SD card got formatted. So which firmware/files am I supposed to download and put on the SD so I can play the games again?

If its the original r4 card try the woodr4 kernel.

This error shows up when I use the firmware corresponding to the name of the flashkart I use. It used to work before but now the SD card is formatted and I don't know what firmware to put to play DS games.

Yes... When I put the card in it shows SpongeBob antlantis squarepantis, but when I open it the above error appears.

I hope you did a back up before deleting it, if you did. Add the original files and add then the other files. If not well.
