Hacking R4 Team(original) never died.

Lots of people say that the R4 is dead but it isn't. It was never dead in the beginning at all. The R4 team had 3 flashcarts with different names. R4, R4li, EX4DS. The original R4 was there first flashcart its website is r4ds.cn they stopped making new firmwares for awhile for this flashcart. After that they moved on and made there 2nd flashcart which is the R4li its website is r4li.com they made there i flashcart and made a website for it there. On that website they still supported the original R4 and supported the R4li. Then they stopped supporting the R4li and original R4 because they started to make there 3rd flashcart which is the EX4DS.

Currently if you check there website r4li.com this is what it says.

We apologize for our slow action of updating firmware. Our new product Ex4DS movie card is coming soon. All of the engineers are working hard on the new product that lack of hand fixes the bugs in 1.24. We promise to support original R4 in the future. Thanks.

They will start making new firmwares after the EX4DS is released for the original R4 and R4li.

Uhm no. The R4 Team disbanded and loads popped up claiming they were the original team and actually weren't.

They still do. Its just that right now they don't because they are busy making the EX4DS. Plus I might be wrong about this, but I think its a very good speculation. But a very reliable one. I will find out more news about this later.

So you don't know for a fact that it's the R4 Team, it's just speculation. Yet you posted it like it was fact. Where did you read that the EX4 is being made by the original R4 team?

The 1.24 kernel from them does work on the original R4. With that said the 1.24 kernel is also slow and buggy compared to the 1.18 final release, imo the team behind the kernel and cards are not the original team. Why? first ask yourself why would the original team not just post the updates to 1.18 on there original page and if needed just create a new page for the DSi card?!

The EX4 is manufactured in the same place as the original R4 and so is the R4li.

I already pointed out that it wasn't the original team but got totally ignored by everyone else in the thread. lol

They're not from the original R4 team. I was around when all the clones started appearing claiming they were the original R4 team. The GBAtemp staff were in touch with the team and confirmed they disbanded.

Maybe they don't want to put it in there original site so they won't be sued by Nintendo?

Dude just give it up. You're speculating, assuming and guessing with no actual facts and then stating it like a fact. If it was the R4 team back in action they would have let GBAtemp know and it would have been reported as such.
