Hacking R4 stuck on loading

Now I got my R4 LONG time ago I say 7... ya 7 years ago and its been working fine all these years. Updated firmware for some games worked wonders. So few month back I dl this game can't remember what now and try to play it. It froze so I rebooted my DS and than it show the loading screen and just freeze there forever. I tried changing the firmware but didn't work, I reformated the DS cart still doesn't work. Anyone have any idea how to fix it? Thank you.

I don't have an R4i, I have an R4 its only for DS not 3DS.

Install the latest Kernel(Wood R4 v1.62 Kernel) on the R4:http://www.r4ds.com/wood-r4/wood-r4-v1.62-download.html
If that doesn't help, format the SD Card (1GB or 2GB)with your games completely with FAT32. Then copy your games on the SD card and try again.

Still no dice =\ I wonder if its the connection between the SD card and the flash cart. But it happen due to a software freeze though so idk Q_Q
