I've been able to get a few homebrew to run in DSi mode. Wooddumper (which behaves the same way as it did from sudokuhax...as in...it still couldn't read slot-1) and hbmenu isn't able to access SD properly. probably because it expected sudokuhax to set that up for it.

Ok here's more test build for DSTT users to try. (As before R4iSDHC seems similar, so it's worth trying them on those as well, though you may need to use DSTT firmware with them)

There's 3 test builds. 3rd one was based on a rom dump. Version 1 is based on the DSTT.DAT file and "should" work in a manner similar to the R4 Launcher. Version 2 is based on the SRL DSTT uses for soft reset. Version 3 had a Deep Labyrinth header buried in it. So I used that as the main header. Maybe it will work?

Looking at my SD card, there doesn't seem to be any .nds files related to the cart's firmware. The only downloads I am able to find online regarding the card's firmware are updaters. I doubt it, but would those work?

I mean the files you have to install on the SD card. They won't necessarily look like NDS files. They'll either be DAT files or some other extension unique to EZFlash. Send me the firmware files that you install on SD. If it has none, then you'll need to get a rom dump of it.

Version 1 is the white screen with the loading icon like before, and Version 2 looks like it's about to load, goes all black, then all white, and then the top screen stays black and the bottom one white.

Version 3, however, boots all the way to the 'Menu?' screen! I think this is pretty much it, except it doesn't actually load the menu. However, the menu screen looks slightly different than it does on the actual cart. I'm thinking maybe you got a different dump, for DSTTi or 3DSTT or something like that?

I can post a picture of the menu screen if needed.

Two versions. Both appear to be variations of Moonshell 2. Version 2 flashes white screen then black. But version 1 looks promising. It shows some text saying it didn't find a compatible flashcart version. That is to be expected I guess as I don't the right flashcart to test with it.

I can try again with a DSTT specific rom dump. You have one? I won't bother trying it unless I find a second header buried in it like I did with that v3 test build that almost booted your DSTT.

I don't have it right now, but can I dump it? My 3ds can run any homebrew and I also have a ds lite.

You have to use the DS Lite. The 3DS won't let you hot swap them while in DSi/DS mode since the slot powers down when you do.

Getting the power off error for both. Maybe it's just something I'm doing, but I'm 100% certain I'm using the correct patches.

There's a problem with your setup. Error has occured message should not be occurring even if it turns out the SRLs won't work. I've tested them to at least boot to white screen on my console before I decide they are ready to test.

Same here! Is there anything to dump as far as rom for an action replay?

Edit: Found the answer is yes. Unfortunately I do not have a DS or DSLite to dump the card...
