Hacking R4 SDHC Pokemon Black Booting Options

Sorry to post another "help get my pokeman game working" thread, but I think I've hit a dead end in ways to try and boot the game. I've tried the following before and after formatting my SD card with both clean and RetroGameFan patched roms:

• Wood R4 Original
• Wood R4 for clones
• YSMenu as an NDS file with updated TTMenu .dat files (fixed error=-4)
• YSMenu as primary firmware with updated TTMenu .dat files (fixed error=-5)

In every instance I end with a white screen. I'm starting to think this is more of a hardware problem, but maybe I'm missing something. This is all with an original R4 SHDC, DS Lite, and SanDisk 8GB microSD seen below. Thanks in advance for the help.

Your R4 is not original. It's an R4 SDHC. The original one doesn't support SDHC.
