Hacking R4 SDHC Dual-Core Not Working

I recently bought this R4 SDHC "Plus" flashcart from this website: https://nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=507 since I had previously bought a different cart from there that worked fine, but I haven't been able to get it working despite trying to use multiple kernels and SD cards, it always displays "Cant open _dsmenu.dat". Is there anywhere I can find a compatible kernel or is this just a cheap clone that will never work? I included a picture of it for reference.

Try using any of the kernels from this site. I'm guessing that the one you bought is a rebranding of the ones on that site. Update us if it works.

You bought the wrong cart. Should have bought this one instead: https://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=575

Try using any of the kernels from this site. I'm guessing that the ome you bought is a rebranding of the ones on that site. Update us if it works.

I think r4isdhc.com and r4isdhc.com.cn are different carts. @Lilith Valentine might know the answer to that IIRC.

I do not think it is an"official" more a Clone from the Clone....

Is there a Link on the Cards Contacts please ? Your Picture did not show it....

EDIT: I saw it on the Label it is .com.cn
So that Kernels from the Link maybe would not work for your Card.

I’ve done some digging around on the Internet Wayback Machine and I’ve found a kernel for your cart, directly from the website on your cart so you can try that out.

That won't work, I have the same card. OP, wait a minute until I arrive home, I'll share with you the kernel you need, I had the same problem as you, the missing "_DSmenu.dat" issue.

Weirdly enough, this card uses Wood R4.

Yeah that's the cart I bought from there before, (though I don't remember the price being that high) I just assumed that I could get a different cheaper cart from the same site and it would work with the same kernel.

I actually tried this kernel too and it also worked fine, it just looks a bit different, (and it might be outdated but idk how to tell) thank you for going to the trouble of looking for it.
