it says on top "R4 NDS MicroSD Card Adpater English Version with Kingston 1GB TF", the kingston tf is the micro sd.

The $44.25 comes with the micro sd

The $30.68 doesn't come with the micro sd.

Just received my R4 put a Roo on it but it saying (Couldn't find_DS_MENU.DAT).

Copy the firmware onto it. The link is on the news page, they just released version 1.09

Extract the zip/rar file or whatever it is in. Copy all the files to the base directory (the root) of the microSD card. It should work now.

EDIT: I'll make it easier. Get the file first, it should be a single file (for convenience). This file should be able to be decompressed, so do so with WinRar, or WinZip (heck, even Windows has a built in decompressor for ZIPs). The result should be several files and folders. Copy all of these to the lowest folder you can go in from your flash drive (called the root of the card)
