Im watching Ken Burns "American Revolution" and i started to wonder if maybe that was the very moment our timeline went bad.
Would we have been better off with the british in charge? Giving control and autonomy back to America when they ceased control of India perhaps?
Would this have created an america with more humane laws?

its quickly become my go-to vinegar for savoury dishes now along with balsamico.

If you go to Paddington, there's like 4 Italian restaurants, Asian ones, a steak house and a pub... That's just garbage.

I'd never recommend people to visit London or the other big cities as they're kind of sh*tholes now, but towns and rural areas? Yes. The country side is beautiful.

That TV License bullshit is ridiculous, they now send me letters every few months.

I know they want me to feel threatened and pay for it, but I won't. Just show up and they'll see what happens (either I don't open or I'll film them and waste their time).

I mean like if you get cable or streaming, the license should be included. If they force you to have a TV license to even view streaming, then the license should be included when paying for streaming or cable then since you have to have a license to watch it.

The Tories were more left leaning bs, just like Labour. No genuine conservative government would be so soft on giving people benefits on practically everything.

And Reform? They've picked up the Tory trash recently, but sadly they're the closest thing that England has to a semi-stable govt.

The leftist Spanish govt has legalized 500k migrants which means they're expecting them to vote for them. Never mind they arrived illegally in Spain and committed other crimes (entering a country without permission is a crime in itself).

Just yesterday there were two stabbings in London, one of which wasn't in the news. To be honest, there's probably been more stabbing though we just don't know about it because people don't report it. Thanks a lot for all the crime, Starmer and Khan.
