Civswitch for switch 1

Hello
The recent Civswitch exploit also works on switch 1

Does it mean i can use it as an entry point to launch AMS on an Oled switch with no modchip?
Short answer is, not really. (someone would have to implement that, if it even is possible)

even on switch 2 the civ7 hack lets you do nothing.

only smile basic 4 currently lets to do something
none of the exploits released other than smile basic 4 lets you do anything at all. (they dont have the fs exploit implemented)

Sure, it's very early days!
gezine said it's possible for the fs thing to be used with civ7, so whether he'll be doing it or someone else will, not sure.

I think most of us don't mind having to wait longer, but like the "comfort" of having the physical game entry point no matter what.

So what can I use it for ? Launching homebrew .nro files ? And emulators ?
Maybe .elf files or something.
.nro files are a Nintendo format, so they probably require more access to run.
The SmileBASIC exploit loads .elf files, with more or less the same access as a regular game (+ some extra access, thanks to the fs exploit)
It's a lot more limited than .nros. Some homebrew could be ported, a lot of it just requires too many permissions though.
Most of the Switch homebrew is file managers, title managers, theme installers and other utilities, none of which would likely work because they require more access than a typical game.
Maybe emulators could be ported to work though.

But it 2CAN be implemented so it will définitively come
