Hacking R4 or DSTT?

How well does the DSTT function? I've read some of the reviews between the R4 and DSTT and I would like to go with the TT but I'm not sure as to whether or not if that chip is good. Also is there any bad batches for any modchips in general?

And for the guys who bought the DSTT what actually came with it? Just the TT chip and a SD reader? Or did it come with those DS Slot 2 cards as well?

I'm going to buy this off of modchipstore.com as well if you guys could please answer my question.

Well im not sure exactly what the TT comes with but my friend has one i would reccomend it over R4.
we havent hd any problems with it so far and hes had it for over a month without problems.
Thats all i know.

Don't get either.

I have a DSTT. It works fine. But it's not supported officially, so I can't play new games. I suggest you get an AK2i or something like that.

I reccomend the dstt , me and 3 of my friends have it and it's pretty good for it's price and is compatible with many many games and good speed. It can also use cheats.

It comes with the sd reader and dstt. I bought my 2gb sd from eBay and my dstt from dealextreme

But what is so unique about that particular cartridge? I haven't really done my fair share of researching into the carts yet because I never have time to actually hop onto a computer and browse through every review. So I was wondering if you guys could enlighten me on the AceKard2i.

I do see that it is cheaper than the DSTT, but my questions are that:

-Will it run smoothly without any lags?
-Am I able to download new games that came out on the released date/download ahead of released date?
-Will there be any bad batches and whats the % chance that I would get a bad one.
-Also what sites are reliable that I am able to purchase the carts from?
-(Whatever else I can think of I'll edit it into here)

I've had a DSTT, iTouch, EZFlashV, and Acekard2 and can definitily say AC2 is the best
DSTT is outdated
iTouch is hmm dunno sold it after I got it
EZFlash takes forever to boot
So yeah I use my ACekard2 the most.

AK2i works on both DS Lite and DSi, yes.

1. Runs perfectly
2. Likely
3. You may get a bad card but probably not.
4. www.dealextreme.com takes awhile, but it's cheap.

It can hold up to a 32 GB MicroSDHC card, but those haven't been made yet.

DX is very reliable, but it can take awhile to ship and get to where you are.

DX is reliable. It can use up to 16 gb msd since that's the biggest right now. Possibly can use 32 gb later. Go read the akaio wiki.

-Depends entirely on the game. It shouldn't lag, though.
-I don't get your question. Are you asking whether you can run newly games? Of course you can download new games. They just won't work. Mario and Luigi 3 doesn't work.
-No idea. You're asking a question that no one else can answer. Unless someone buys 100% of all DSTTs ever manufactured, your question cannot be answered. I've bought two so far, and both are working fine.
