Hardware R4 for 3ds and regular ds

Hi i once bought a R4 for my ds but when i tried to use it, it didn't work. I went back and forth with the people i bought it from until the point where they stop contacting me. I was just frustrated and threw it aside i t was only about 12$ i think. That was about 6 months ago, but my questions is does anyone know where i can get a real r4 that can work for my regular ds and 3ds, and if possible a price range. Also can the R4's be shipped already configured to a certain update my 3ds is currently running Ver. 4.4.0-10U and no i wont update it.

Any flashcart that supported upto the 4.4.0.10 will work. You only need to pick one that you find easy to use, this would include any that were blocked by the 4.5.0.11 firmware.

im not to familiar with r4's at all and i believe i may have bought a fake one. Do you know a good retailer?

The majority of R4 clones will run either wood or some slightly hacked interface of something else.

thx this really does help alot. Especially since u took your time to put to different regional sites. I probably would've ordered from the Hong Kong Site and taken forever to receive my R4 lol.

You either pay with time or money.

The closer the vendor the more it cost you but you get it faster, the farther the vendor is away the cheaper it is but you pay in the amount of time.

The majority of vendors are HK based anyways. RHS has a HK site if you want to get things cheaper, but it is like what I said, you will be paying for it with time.
