Hacking R4 firmware updated to R4ils 1.22 problems

I noticed a couple of strange things while I updated my original 1.18 to the new-ish 1.22. One major would be that browsing games in the main menu, after booting the DS, feels slower. Is this normal?

Also, cheats do NOT save after saving them.

Just use YSMenu.

v1.22 has slightly better compatibility than YSMenu (i.e DSTT 1.17) but it's still as buggy as hell. You're better off sticking with YSMenu unless your life depends on playing SWCW: Jedi Alliance.

Pardon me since I'm kinda new with these things... but how do you use YSmenu? Note I'm using a Mac...

Look a little further through the R4DS forums (like at the top) and find stickies that explain how you can get YSMenu on your R4.

There's the manual way, which can be quite complicated, especially if you're new to this, like you.

And there's the automatic way, with the use of R4YSAuto.
