I got the R4DS for free from a friend of mine who's got a 3DS, but I'm only getting my DS Lite tomorrow. So I went on with continuity testing with a beeping multimeter. Everything looks fine, except that pins 2 and 3 on the cartridge don't beep at all. Is it normal?

pin 3 is not used at all, but pin 2 really is. there was a trace connecting it to the processor, but this trace was broken. I fixed it with solder and a thin copper wire (pretty risky, almost bridged pins 1 and 2), now it's up and running. Oh, by the way it's the R4DS, the first model
