I downloaded it and successfully opened it.. R4i.3DS? They dont even know if 3DS extentions are even .3DS...

How can this be real?... No one has a 3DS yet, and copies of the games.

I really don't get how this can be real.

Also, if it is, then I'm sure Nintendo doesn't have piracy on it yet because they aren't that far in its development yet.

I'm really starting to get pissed at these clones claiming to be the R4... I guess since the name R4 is associated with DS pirating these days...


I wonder when the media will start recognizing the flashcarts as AceKards or SuperCards or something... But then we'll have a massive amount of clones for those too... We can't win, now can't we?

It could work for 3DS but we dont know if the 3DS READS .3ds files yet.

There is no such thing as a .3DS file. You can give any file a .3DS extension.
The R4i.3DS included in the firmware is just a normal .NDS file, looking at the firmware files, it looks like nothing other than a DSTT/TTDS clone.
Nothing special here.

Maybe they don't mean it'll run 3DS games, but .3DS games. You only have to rename your files from .NDS games to .3DS games.

People who buy R4 carts aren't always the sharpest tacks in the box. It is just a way to sell more carts to people who don't know better.

Thanks for the info I was just about to buy an Avatar Edition R4iTT Ultra Revolution Gold flashcart, but since this one works on a 3DS mine as well give it a go.
