Hacking R4 and EZ Flash 3 in 1

Does the EZ Flash 3 in 1 expansion pack work with the R4.

And does anyone know where I can get a cheap legit R4?

I looked on dealextreme but those are cheap knockoffs. Does anyone have any experience with those?

Or would just getting an EZ Flash cart be easier. I am mainly going to be using these with Pokesav. And I want a cart that will work with Pokesav fer sure.

2.1. original R4 isn't being made anymore
2.2. if you want one you have to get it from someone
2.3. it would be a waste of money because there are no more firmware updates and problems are arising
3. those cards suck
4. you need a slot-1 flashcard
5. get an ak2 and use the AKAIO firmware. it has gba support built-in

I got to be honest, ever since I have got a CycloDS I don't play my R4DS which I had for like a year now. It's a legit one because my mother bought for me in December 2007.

I recommend u to get the original R4DS and yes u can still buy them online. i just bought 1 for like 8 dollars. The firmware for offical R4DS is no longer up to date, but you can use Yasu's YSMENU, its works great and is compatible for GBA with ez flash 3 in 1. i know cuz i use it. u can find guides to create ysmenu on http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=103879

Agreed, R4+YSMenu+EZ 3-in-1 = nice combo with critical rate of 75%....too much RPG...
AceKard is very good I heard but if You really want to stick with R4 for now, no problem if You will find the real one
