Hacking R4 3DS Problem

I got a R4 3DS RTS recently here's the a picture of it:

I updated my 3DS to the most recent version 5.0.1 or whatever it is and i put the files that it needs and it wont work. I also updated it with m DSI. Can somebody help me i can get it working.

It says "An error has occurred press and hold the power button"

That means the firmware of the cart isn't at least as updated as the 3DS, you'll want to download the latest firmware update from the site and run it on the DSi again to be sure.

By the way, if you intended to buy the R4i Gold 3DS/RTS that uses wood, you bought a clone instead. The one that's actually supported by wood looks totally different on the sticker.

I did and it says it's already been updated. It works fine on my dsi though. Where can i buy a R4i Gold?

All these R4i (www.r4isdhc.com) with the "NEW" logo on the sticker are blocked since 5.0.0.11 update. the working ones are labeled with "2013" logo.
