Gaming R button suddenly stops working?

Wow. I'd never think it was a widespread problem. My little brother has the same problem, but I thought it was because he's so uncareful with it

But why the R key? Why not the L? Isn't it symmetrical?

Its actually my L button that is broken. R works like a charm, but i have to blow into my L button to get it to respond.
