"Looks like your ad blocker is on" even without one

...I don't think it is?

The site's message telling that an ad blocker is on keeps appearing whenever I click on any link or thread, despite the fact that I literally don't have an ad blocker system in my browser (and even if I had one, I would never use it.)

It's really weird, dunno why this is happening but it's putting me off.

Firefox ESR 115.x security backport support got extended in half year increments multiple times (currently through March 2027). Who knows for how long. At some point they will have to stop supporting a legacy version.
Although Mozilla does the minimum in the form of backporting important fixes, the old version doesn't receive any functional updates. This will cause problems at some point with the ever evolving (bloating) web technologies.

Windows 7/8.1, macOS 10.12/10.13/10.14 and x86 Linux have no up to date (mainstream) browser.

Regarding adblocker detection: Also check for DNS based blocking (pi-hole, VPN, public ad blocking DNS)

That's because you use browser extensions, which slightly functions more dynamically to block popups and such. A domain filter list oriented ad blocker isn't going to stop popups like that. Hence why if you use something like a VPN, ad block DNS services, etc. that popup will still show up.
