Gaming Quick Question on installing IOS for Punch Out

I downloaded the new Gecko OS 1.9 and it said i was missing like IOS 53
I was wondering if it was safe to install the missing IOS53 i need to play for my Jap Wii, Im on 3.2 J and I wasn't sure so, i just wanted some clarification.

You would need to install that and change your game region to be able to play it.
