Quick question about BOTW and that...telemetry thing.

I do have that "patch" script thing that disables telemetry when playing this game and I've been using airplane mode whenever using homebrew for this game. I should be fine going online with CFW turned off even with BOTW right? I'm not really using any huge game-breaking/adding mods or anything and it's just simple model replacements (Linkle mods), but I just wanted to be sure. Thinking about going ahead and buying the DLC, lol.

EDIT: ...Well I went online and browsed the eShop (and got the DLC)....ugh, I've modded Smash Ultimate and added my own songs to it while being online no problem. This stupid constant telemetry thing for BOTW has made me paranoid even when I have that anti-telemetry patch thing active. >.<

Bumping this thread to ask: Does ToTK have the same kind of telemetry as BoTW did?
And if so, should it be patched in order to use ToTK mods?
Or is DNS.mitm enough?
