Actually you are the main reason why I'm here asking this question. I was thinking of trying that video until I saw your comment. I wish and hope that web site has simple instructions. I'll read it now. And Thank you.

What is the best and most recent Wii homebrew software for playing 2D Arcade Games, SNES and Genesis games on Wii. I'm currently using Retroarch and very very old 2012 FBA cores. Which software and cores should I use? Are we still using different cores (cps1, cps2, etc) for different games, or can we use a common core now? All I want is getting the best result for a couple of old arcade beat'em up games and some snes and genesis games.

Hi, just got my old Wii out of storage and updated just about everything I could to give it a fresh start.
I went for an install centered around WiiFlow, the Shima theme, and the nice plugin package which I thank you for making available (eveything seems much simpler than back in the days, well done all of you).
I have decided to store my games (retrogaming systems) mostly on my SD card, but I have plugged a USB HD as well to store specifically my Wii, Gamecube and PS1 games.
Everything is running smoothly, except for my PS1 games.
My USB HD has been formatted in FAT 32 mode. My Wii and Gamecube ISOs launch without a problem.
When using the WiiStation / WiiSXRX plugin within WiiFlow, it displays all games (and bos covers) without a problem... But if I try and launch of those ISOs, I get a "Cannot find usb:/wiisxrx/isos/..." (on top of which, if I try and click on the "OK" button, my Wii just crashes.

What I have noticed is that whenever I use any application which allows me to browse, directly from the Wii environment, both my SD and my USB disk, I can see that the external disk shows as "usb1:/", and not as "usb:/".
No matter how hard I try, I cannot locate any ini file which would allow me to force WinStation or WiiSXRX to use "usb1:/" as the base folder, instead of "usb:/"

Does this ring a bell with anyone here?

Thanks for any input on this issue.

EDIT : if this had already been addressed somewhere else, my bad, I have searched on this forum and other places, but found answer so far, besided formatting my HD to FAT32, which doesn't seem to be the issue here.

PROBLEM SOLVED: Never underestimate the importance of checking if your partition is MBR or GPT... MBR is definitely the way to go, all my issues are resolved...

Is there a way to emulate a horizontal remote with another controller, classic or whatever?

Many WiiWare games have only this option, and I'm looking for a way to patch it
Game: FF CC My life as a Darklord

Im using a Rv-101 Family edition wii, Is it possible to get usb controllers either through the gamecube adapter or other controllers to work with backed up wii games? Ive seen alot of gamecube with nintendont or discs with brainslug but nothing about backed up games.
