I'm just trying to talk to someone that knows how to install a 100% game file of Mario Party 1 on Project 64. I found this guy (I can't post hyperlinks...his name is Timemaster on this website) that has a 100% file, but I don't know how to load it. If someone can help me or help me get in touch with him I'd greatly appreciate it.

Should be as easy as placing his save file in your save directory with the appropriate name.

That is as long as the saves have the same format.

Does that all make sense?

What does the format have to be in? His file is "buffer_save (1).dat". If I have to change it, can you please help me with that too?

Hm, it seems like it may be a save state

Any clue what emulator that was initially used on?

He did not say. I also found another save file on Gamefaqs (mario-party.1100 (1).n64), but I've never seen a .n64 file type

Try using this converter

https://beckabney.com/mk64/mempak.php

From what I can see the .n64 file type is used by the dex drive

So where the converter I sent you says dex you can regard that as the same as .n64

Once you have the mpk save file it should work in most emulators
