Hacking Questions about attempting a Switch mod

I have now done every step on this guide.

There is no more steps for me to complete.
What do I do now?
How do I download anything. Do I just use the homebrew app store and what is the point of setting a emuMMC?

How do I download anything. Do I just use the homebrew app store and what is the point of setting a emuMMC?
Download what? What do you wish to accomplish? There are a plethora of things you can do with a hacked console. You have to be way more specific. Also there are multiple uses for emuMMC. For one, it can act as a brick shield for sysMMC. It can also allow you to be on higher firmware versions without updating the actual firmware of your console.

That's what I said, maybe they were just doing a recreation of the Cerne Abbas giant but didn't finish it in time.
