ROM Hack Questions About Adding AR Cheats

So I have been playing Harvest Moon Grand Bazaar on my 2ds XL with the help of the DsiPlusPlus Menu from having custom firmware. Is there any way to be able to use action replay codes or cheats on it? And if there is could someone please help walk me through it? I'm good with most things but this is something I prefer to have someone knowledgable on this kind of thing to make sure I don't ruin my system.
