Misc question, WiiU over wifi or buy an usb lan adapter

I've searched the whole network topic for an answer (glad it was only 3 pages ) but couldn't find an answer. Anywho, is the network capped or is the wifi module just slow. I'm experiencing some trouble while downloading games or updates, it's very slow.
I'm using wifi on my wiiu. It couldn't be my connection because my home network speed is 199,5 mbps down on speedtest.

downloads and updates are always slow even on fast connections. blame nintendo eshop servers.

what matters is the quality of online play and i have never noticed lag online with kart or smash bros

wifi. even though i have a wii usb LAN adapter and a network switch behind my main tv, i use wifi for wii u
