Okay, so I couldn't find anything on this matter, so I decided to ask here.
Is there any way I could somehow burn a homebrew app or game on to a disc for play on the Disc Channel?

I would like to be able to play a fan game (Mother 1+2+3) off of a disc. I mean, I do have a hacked Wii and I did put a channel for it on my Wii menu using a wad manager but there is nothing quite as satisfying as having a physical copy of a game. (Especially if it is a series you absolutely adore from your childhood.)

I know there is most likely not a way to accomplish this, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks in advance,
-Ty

There is a way to accomplish this.
You need a modchip and a 3.2 or under system menu and someone who knows how to place the game on a disc.

Alright... 2 questions

1. Is there any specific modchip I would need?
2. Would I have to use a Wii disc or could I just use a normal CD?

1. Any modchip that works with your Wii's drive model
2. A normal DVD (not CD). What specific type I'm not sure of.

Ah yes... I meant a DVD. (derp)

One last question.. is there any specific way I should put it on a DVD? Should I keep it the same folder directory? (...apps/mother123)
Oh, and would this modchip work? (I have the original Wii model)

Anyways, thank you for your help.
