Right thanks, so how does this process work exactly?

WudInstallerMod installs the WUD as a legit title to USB then you immediately overwrite the tik with the modded one?

WUDs are like ISOs of Wii U disks
WUP packages are eShop installation packages

Basically disks and installs are two separate things, and both have separate tickets that the Wii U checks before authorizing either playing the game or installing the game

It just so happens (in our favor) that the two tickets are very, very similar, so that we can modify the disk ticket to look *exactly* like the install ticket, even though we've never seen the install ticket before and don't have the right to access it without IOSU exploit

So, we take the disk ticket, make a very small change, and it becomes the install ticket. You can then use the install ticket to install the game, which is identical to what the Wii U does when you buy a game off eShop.

What you're left with is a legitimate eShop installation

I have a CFW PS3. Is the specific application for dumping Wii U disks publicly available somewhere?

I really don't know. I just saw that in the Trump thread. Maybe someone here knows

It seems a group named "PowerUp" and the other groups (like FAKE Group) who can dump Wii U games are warez group. So, I think they don't tend to make their methods public, unfortunately
