Misc Copy game update with Dumpling and convert it to Installer GX2 format

Dumpling can only make a copy of the game update files in Cemu format, apparently (I have never used Cemu, btw).
I need to convert that into APP format, so I can install that update by using Installer GX2.
Apparently Nkit can do that, but I cannot figure out how to do it, as the game update consists of multiple files (not just a WUX or WUP file).
Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks!

Introduction

In this thread I wanted to provide a single easy to follow resource for explaining and understanding the different file formats for Wii U software and the uses cases they can have, either on original hardware or on the CEMU emulator. That won't work since what is being asked is a way to change a decrypted WUP to an encrypted WUP. I wasn't able to find a way to make that possible.

In theory you could try NUSPacker with the decrypted contents though, but I don't know how reliable that would be.

Then again since the OP is asking about updates, you can still download those from the servers just fine assuming you aren't using Pretendo and the like.
