Gaming Question about Transferring files to wii u

Does anyone know if i will have to revert my soft mod wii to transfer files to the wii U

Your Wii will be fine during the transfer. All it will do is move all of your legitimately bought WiiWare and Virtual Console games as well as ALL of your Wii save files from the Wii to the Wii U. Everything else will be unaffected.

Since they are not under your download history on Nintendo servers, they will not be transferred.

Rather than make a new thread, I'll continue with this one.

I just tried to make a Wii -> Wii U transfer, and I got an error with code 202011 showing up. It happened when attempting to connect to the internet for the transfer after reading from both the SD card (that had the WiiU information) and system memory.

Nvm, it went through. Not sure if it was just the servers being overloaded, or the fact that I went and formatted my Wii just prior to trying this last time. Either way, the records were transferred over, and I have a NAND backup that I did before the format.
