So the range on my gamepad has recently become unbearable to the point where I'm getting drop outs even when being right next to the console, having done a quick search it seems loads of people have experienced the same issue of the range gradually deteriorating, apparently I can fix it by replacing the MICA2 bluetooth/wifi module...
But, my question is this - what's the deal with this chip's performance deteriorating so fast? I've never experienced anything like it before.
Is it due to bad quality hardware, and how long is lifespan supposed to be on them?
I'm worried about replacing it, then having the same problem again in the future and not being able to find these chips - basically rendering my WiiU useless.
