So i saw this video:

My question is does anyone have experience doing this with a 4TB Drive?
From what i gathered in the comments, when using a windows tool to partition/format, not all drives work but if you use Gparted in linux it will correctly work on any drive.
Before i buy a 4 TB Samsung 870 EVO i want to make sure i'm not making a mistake lol
Thx for the input.

4 TB hdd is way too much. I would say 1 TB is enough. Before you can fill it up, you gonna reach the magical 300 games barrier with Sauron at the threshold

Well i want to put some emulators and stuff on there too.

Yeah 1 TB per console library might cut it but its unhealthy to have a drive near max capacity, they last much longer when there is lots of free space on them.
