Hacking [Question] about downgrading a N3ds with 9.x firmware

let's say I have a N3ds with 9.9 fw, should I downgrade it to 9.2 imediately or should I update it to 10.3 first and then downgrade?

The reason why I'm asking is because, I have a bad experience downgrading a N3ds with 9.9 fw. I ended up having a frankenfirmware. good thing I was able to fix that. (thanks to cubic ninja). however I didnt have any problems downgrading a 10.3 n3ds.

people say u can just go and downgrade but i updated to 10.3 first then down to 9.2 i also used the normal sysupdater not the safesysupdater.Just make sure u have the correct files for n3ds they are not the same as o3ds and region of course.

how did you update to 10.3?

i downloaded the 10.3 files from that site we cant link and used sysupdater and picked upgrade.

I just downgradrd one of mine straight from 9.9-9.2....had no real issues, just the luck issue of sysupdater actually working lol.
