Alright, I am fairly new to the 3DS and its Homebrew Development and I have a couple of questions here.
I have been reading and it didn't take me long to figure out that accepting to the last update was a major mistake in the regards to obtaining any sort of Homebrew software on my 3DS, however, I am wondering what all options there are at the given time considering I've already goofed and accepted to this update. (Should've known better.. I already have experience from the numerous android hacking/development forums to know usually update=Patched exploits..)
I have read discussion on a "Hardmod" and I was wondering how I might go about doing this and what the possible downsides to this procedure would be.. I am assuming from the context I read that the process outlines bypassing the system interface (Hence "Hardmod" or "J-Tag" as some call it.) and tapping the NAND in order to flash older firmware.
I'd also like to know what (If anything at all..) I can do as far as Homebrew is concerned since accepting to this update, please forgive me if this is a typical question and if I'm being far too optimistic here guys. I am really interested in seeing what can be done.. although, I don't have much money to spare at the time for a Hardmod (Considering I am no engineer by any stretch of the imagination and wouldn't trust myself with a soldering iron.. I have experience software and hardware wise but nothing along the lines of soldering and creating circuit boards...Needless to say, in order to obtain a "Hardmod" I would have to ask someone to do it for me.) or anything along those lines so I am just curious if there were absolutely anything I can do as my situation stands right now.
Any information is appreciated guys!
