Hacking Question about 1.08 Firmware

Is this an R4 exclusive or will it come out for the M3 DS Simply as well?

Also, I haven't seen anyone discuss the new kernal. How is it working for all of you R4 owners?

Nobodys discussing it cause its 1.08 BETA. We're all waiting for the final release of 1.08

Well I am anyways. I'm thinking the beta will be just for R4 though. M3Simply will get their next firmware step after R4 releases their 1.08final.

The "official" 1.08 will have cheat codes, the beta does not.

M3 has their beta available for the Simply, 1.04beta I think. It's the same, just their version numbering is a little different from the R4. Look for the finals (or further betas) just a couple days after the R4 releases theirs.

I'm currently running the 1.08 beta and haven't experienced any problems whatsoever.

i decided to bring this up here rather than a new thread,

a few of my themes dont work! for example, after the Auto-Theme (every month) option, if i press select, it should go to theme 01. except it just stays as the the pic it was before. it happens with a few of the other 12 themes too...

I visited the R4 website and was surprised to see the 1.08 firmware with the BETA word removed.. so i assumed it is the FINAL version of 1.08 with the promised Action Replay cheat support.. however, there are no current descriptions as to what it does or what's the difference with 1.08 BETA.. it was uploaded last 04/14/2007..

if you look at the size of the betait's about 2.50MB but the new 1.08 kernel is around 7.50MB so there's quite difference in size..........sudeki300
