Hi, I was following the instructions over at 3ds.hacks.guide/installing-boot9strap. I modified the saves, initiated the transfer, etc. Now the issue I am facing is that the DSi Ware game did not get transferred over to the new system, it is still on the old 3DS system memory. I get that I can modify it again and try in a week, but before I try this again I wanna know what went wrong? The guide says "Move DSiWare titles if prompted!". But there was never such a prompt for me during the process. So do I have to copy the game to the SD card on the old 3DS before I start the transfer or... I am not really sure here.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, the old one does, it has the latest Luma CFW. But isnt the seedminer method exactly what I am trying to do now? I bought one of those DSi Ware games, edited it with God mode and then did the system transfer, problem is the game did not actually transferred during the process.

Since you modified it is no longer a legit game, so then it won't transfer.
I'm assuming he means he just injected the save like the guide says to. And editing a game won't change the fact that the license to play it will be moved, if it was bought legitimately.
@AdenTheThird did you buy it from the eShop? If it is pirated it will not transfer. If you did buy it, you can continue like this:
  • Restore the pre-transfer NAND backup on the source
  • Check the game has the modified save and if not then inject the save again
  • Go to System Settings, data management, DS software, then move the game to SD
  • Take the SD card and put it on the target console
  • Go to System Settings, data management, DS software and choose to move the game from SD to system memory
You should be able to proceed as normal.

This shit drives me crazy. The DSiWare Transfer method badly needs updating to reflect the second half of the seedminer process.
Wasting $2 due to a little mistake then having to wait another week is crap and unnecessary.

I'll see about updating this thread very soon and hopefully other guides will follow.

OP you can do this method now.

The only thing you have to change is after you dump your movable.sed on the source system, subtract 2 from the following byte in a hex editor:
0x0000110 -- 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 XX 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

I can do it for you if you can't figure it out.
(or you can do seedminer instead if you want)

I know. I've already done the seedminer method successfully.

Ok, thanks a lot, all of you. When I have the time I try this again, hopefully I will succeed this time. And, yes I bought the SUDKOU from eshop, twice in fact :D
