Hardware [Q][Poll] D-Pad Feels Loose - Any Way To Fix?

I'm completely aware 100% that it is totally normal, and they are manufactured this way.
I was just wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to remedy this.

It just bothers me, I love how the dpads are on the ps3, snes, etc. They're stiff, rigid, and act like you'd suppose a d-pad would act.

This one rattles, and can move side to side, etc.

Yeah mines like that, I just kinda got used to it at some point.

same here, i think the majority of the 3ds i own have this kind of issue except the first gen O3DS. You just need to get used to it.

you need to replace the rubber pad, pray that it is the only thing broken and not the metal button contact pad thinggy

my n3ds has a loose one that clicks untill its used for a while.....
