EDIT 2: I sent it to Ninty. Water damage. No warranty. RIP.

EDIT: It boots in A9LH just fine now, but I'm still getting the error screen.

So, this is kind of frustrating. I turned on my n3DS this morning, loaded Project mirai, then the system crashes abruptly. I tried rebooting it only for it to show the home menu for about 2 seconds followed by another error screen. This continued for a few reboots so I assumed it was a bad sysNAND. When I tried to backup the current sysNAND and attempted to reboot Decrypt9 after it's finished, it hangs. I waited a few minutes before forcing a shut down. When I tried to boot it back up, nothing happens aside from the blue LED lighting up. I removed the SD card to check if A9LH is still there and it seems it isn't.. It's pretty much a brick now.

What do? As in what are my options? Does anyone know why this happened? From what I read, it looks like a bad WiFi card but I don't know... Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

OK then
Did you have A9LH on it?
Did you made ANOTHER sysNAND backup after this happened?
And what does "I removed the SD card to check if A9LH is still there and it seems it isn't.. It's pretty much a brick now" mean?!

Could you please clear up what happened.....it's very hard to find out from the OP.

Yeah, I have A9LH. The brick occurred after rebooting Decrypt9 when it was finished with the sysNAND backup. It's strange because it was a *backup*. I'm sure I didn't accidentally restore a sysNAND backup either as I had none in the SD card at the time.

I'm also sure it's not an SD card issue either because when it was removed, the blue LED stays lit. I assume A9LH is kill...

Try backing up then deleting arm9loaderhax.bin from your SD card, then inserting it into your 3DS. Tell us if the blue LED blinks once or stays lit.

Why did you try to BACKUP a corrupt sysNAND?
Okay back to the subject.
Did you have a recent backup of your SD card?
If so put it back on the SD card and try that in your N3DS please.
Watch the LED and tell us what happened please.
If you dont have a recent backup (what would be bad) take one you made during Plailects guide.

I doubt any of this trivial stuff is the problem. Current SD card is fine, used multiple SD cards, blue LED stays lit along with balck screen no matter what is action is taken. Point is, A9LH is kill for some weird reason after a Decrypt9 sysNAND backup.

You'd never know if it was a sysNAND problem or not. If it wasn't, you may end up losing save files, etc. It doesnt hurt to make backups but..Well, this is a special case.

If you need a wifi chip replacement I may be able to send you one if I can find the several pieces I have. But first, when you boot, try to enter the Internet icon right away. Just to be sure that's what you need
