Ahhh had to find a new 'place' but I managed. Haven't played anything on DS in nearly a year probably so I am sure my AKAIO is quite dated...but so far so good, it plays, can close to sleep mode, and saves perfectly so far. Thanks for the heads up...have been checking a few places constantly all day for a week now lol.

Ah, cool. Then there shouldn't be any problems with the likes of CycloDS. Grabbing the game now. Woot!

man i an loving this game! i recommend everyone how likes puzzle games to play it.

i lied, i need a patch.

um... is the progress you made while playing mini-game supposed to save and carry over to quest mode? like the exp and gold that you got, because mine does not carry over.

also in the "treasure grab" mini-game it said that i am supposed to be able to earn items but i never get anything.

is there additional AP that's preventing this? i am playing the venom/cracked/intro-ed version.

I like this game. So envy those who have played it.....
Is the game been released as ds rom? Cant find anywhere....

A little disappointed of the art style in PQ2

PQ1 character design is much more appealing.

Yeah, I gotta agree. I'm also disappointed with the sound effects, though the music is much, much better this time around, mainly because it's not peaking all the time. Those minor complaints aside, it's really, really fun so far. I'm going through my first dungeon, and I'm really digging it. The weapons and armor really DO matter this time, and I like the new overworld design. My only real complaint with the gameplay so far is that you have to slide the spell panel open in order to see how many gems you need for a particular spell, whereas in the first game it was always visible. It's a small thing, but an unnecessary hassle that wasn't present in the last game.

Stayed up pretty late last night, though, zipping through battles. I needed this!

Stylus was okay but I had some miss-queues moving them around as such sometimes. Mouse was by far the best control device bar none.

Yeah, I later moved from Galactrix on DS to PC, and the control was quite satisfying. That being said, I still preferred the stylus -- more satisfying, and honestly, Puzzle Quest is just one of those games you want to crawl up in bed with and play for an hour or so before conking out.
Oh my god, this exactly describes how I played the game. Every night for about 3 months after it came out, I would play it whenever I took a shit, and then like an hour and a half before I went to bed. I'm really hoping that I have as much fun with PQ2.
