so i did this by injecting a gen 7 mon into gen 6 then putting it on pokebank
how did you manage to inject a gen 7 mon into gen 6? wouldn't it just come out as a bad egg?
used pksm bank and i put a pokemon from moon onto it then then moved the pokemon from pksm bank to alpha sapphire then i went on the game and it appeared as a bulbasaur then i used the offical pokebank and put it on there.
The Gen 6 PKM Structure is 99% identical to Gen7 PKM's. Only very small differences. (Like Gen 4 Encounter Flag replaced with Hypertraining).
This is why it's possible to do this. But there is no reason to do it. Gen 6 -> Gen 7 will be a one-way trip.
will it turn into the mon that i put on pokebank though and do the games use a similar engine because
probably not. like you said, it turned into a bulbasaur, so it's probably just gonna be a bulbasaur called necrozma or solgaleo with broken moves
Maybe, but it doesn't need to be that way. If you download a ORAS event on XY, it'll show up a bulbasaur. This is because the game doesn't recognize the event/pokémon, but it does not mean it really is a bulbasaur.
That said, maybe if you put back any of this pokémon on SUMO you'll get back solgaleo or necrozma, or it can be a bulbasaur. This is just speculation.
Won't they ban you for using hacked pokémon though?
if only they did
i won't mess with something like that, especially with the bank's servers currently doesn't have any Gen 7 pokemon
they can easily detect you.
