Get A Psp, Good games like Ratchet & clank, Gta, ect...,iPod touch, its got a couple good games. games but get boring within a few days.

+Really good emulation, pretty much everything PS1 and below.
-Hard to find a hackable one unless you buy an old used Slim or a Phat.

+Doesn't need memory sticks or anything
+Nice music and video player

I'd say PSP. It has an internet browser, it's easy to hack, the games are better then Touch games, plays music and video.

iPod has a better internet browser, it's easier to hack then a PSP, and it plays music and videos easier and better. The PSP games being better is debatable. iPod is great for fun little games when you are waiting for a bus or on a train, but PSP is better for games like GoW, so that category is a toss up

You're right, they are two different systems which can't be directly compared.

I'm going to say this:

If you are wanting to listen to music and have some fun stuff fast, get an iPod
If you are looking for another gaming system, get the PSP

The psp is good for playing games on the go. It has an ok browser and has a music player. But its pretty large to bring it everywhere you go. It is easy to mod compared to ipt.

The ipod Touch has a touch screen, and a internet browser. Its not as big as the PSP, nice and portable. But its not as easy to mod since the 2nd gens came out. As for gaming, doesnt really have that good games, Gets boring, But its a really awesome ipod and is good when you are bored.

If you want gaming, go for the PSP. If you want a nice ipod that you can customize and play with, while listenin to music, pick the Ipod Touch!!!

PSP also has a browser... and Apple said they were releasing PSP quality games for the iPod... i prefer the ipod though... but again i'm more of an internet guy than a big gamer... i am though

I'd gladly take the psp over an ipod, in a gaming sense.

I see the ipod touch as nothing but a DAP with wifi capabilities. If I want a gaming device, then it's a psp over an ipod touch. If you want a music device with lots of extras, then ipod for sure. However, in my view, ipod touch's games aren't truly great. It's just made for quick time killing, arcade games.

I dug around the app store using my bro's comp for a little while, and the only app I found that actually got my interest was really just Rolando. A few apps looked interesting, but I doubt I'd even use them more than a few times.
