Gaming psp isos dont work even with riped out from umd ones

i just got my psp modded two days ago and i cant seem to get the games to work even if i take them out from my umd and put it in my mem stick
my version is 5.00 m33-4

press select on the psp main menu and change umd iso mode to m33 driver, then they will wk

Just to be sure, you are putting them in the ISO folder in the root of the memory stick right?
