Details are a bit sketchy right now and it seems it is running on some unreleased code but it seems this may be off the back of a Vita kernel level exploit.

wololo is saying it's probably legit and that a handful of groups have the kernel exploit, so chances are pretty high its all real. Normally if someone wanted to make people think that to send them to a phony link they would keep it up and show the link, but this one did the opposite, just more evidence to make me think its true.

Davee is not the only person with a kernel mode exploit that works in the Vita's PSP emulator. (...) This does indeed seem legit, and is not loading PSN bought games.

I've never heard, read or seen anyone else announcing that, but perhaps I missed it. I'll remain sceptical until hackers that I know voice their opinion. I also don't see why you're so sure that he's not loading PSN-bought games - if he uses an overlay, he can make it "look" like an ISO if he chooses to do so.

I understand your logic of "if it hasn't been announced or released, it can not be real" but I can't agree with it. A more plausible reason to cry fake could be playing back a premade video and pretending to press the button.

As for me I don't even have a PSV but...

On a serious note: I'm just glad it's done. Now I can buy my Vita in peace. I won't have to carry two consoles around to play games that I want to. I just reason Sony with PSP to Vita being limited to Japan.

I've read it somewhere...
But i don't care much if its real or not because i don't have a Vita.
