Hacking PSP 5.50 Prome-4

Just got a Japanese PSP 2001 with PSP 5.50 Prome-4. I'm wondering what to do next. Is this the latest hacked firmware? Should I update? Where can I go for cheats for PSP games? Emulators? Plus, I can't get the PSP to connect to my Netgear router. Any advice? Sorry. New to this. Really excited to get started...

Sorry. Looked some stuff up. You were right. Stickies helped. Love this thing. Still having trouble tho with a couple things. Plugging it in USB and it doesn't show up. Also, still can't connect to interwebs via my router. Any help?

In the system settings there's a "USB connection" or something option, hit that to tell it to connect to the PC. There's a setting in there somewhere about whether to connect automatically or not as well.

As far as the router thing, if you're using WPA2, try TKIP-AES. You'll need to go into your router's settings to change that bit.
