Hacking PSP 3000 Button configuration?

Hello, just got my PSP.
IS there a way to change the buttons? I like the japanese settings better (X and O are switched)
Not hacked yet, 6.2.

Only in some games. You can't change them in the PSP system settings.

You can use plugins.
(or to swap O and X enter registry hacks in recovery menu (press select))

I think cwcheat and a few other plugins will let you change it in game.

edit: but yeah you'll have to hack it first.

So, I hacked it, how can I change the buttons?

In the main PSP menu press Select to get to the VSH menu, then go into the recovery menu from there. Go to the registry hacks section to swap the buttons.

Yeah there is swap button function but why do you want it? why not just get used to it,there are games that already have swapped X and O.

I also have a 3DS, and it's driving me crazy to switch consuls.
Just a nintendo guy is mostly the reason.
